A boy named Guy (Ryan Reynolds) works as a cashier at a large bank. There are no surprises in his established life. One day his bank is robbed 17 times in a row. Then Guy realizes that all that surrounds him is a skillfully planned video game in which he is a minor character. The virtual world in which he lives allows the player to do whatever he wants. Despite such «favorable» conditions in this world, Guy decides to break out of the game. And at the same time to free the whole world from being in a phantom reality.
