FILM DESCRIPTION:

Space colonization involves surveying everything in sight. Rain (Cailee Spaeny) and her colleagues arrive at the long-abandoned space station. Together they have to explore the empty rooms of the old ship. Their discovery can change the course of history, because this is the most dangerous form of life in the universe.

Science and horror «Alien: Romulus» is the seventh film in the Alien franchise. The script takes place between the events of «Alien» (1979) and Aliens (1986). Fede Alvarez took the director's chair this time. Together with Rodolfo Sayages, with whom they worked on many successful projects (The Sinister Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Don't Breathe), he wrote the script for the film using characters and concepts invented by Dan O'Bannon. Ridley Scott, who directed three of the six films in the franchise, took over as producer. Filming took place in Budapest, Hungary during the spring and early summer of 2023.
