It started with the desire of several southern states to secede and now the whole country is engulfed in hostilities. A group of journalists, including a well-known reporter (Kirsten Dunst), who has often filmed armed conflicts before, are moving in the direction of Washington. It is becoming clear that the country's leadership has turned into a dictatorship, and that rebel groups are committing war crimes everywhere.

He started as a writer and it was his work «The Beach» that was made into a film of the same name in 2000. Since 2014, he not only works on scripts, but also directs himself. Filming of the new film began in Atlanta in the spring of 2022, and later moved to London.
