The hero first appeared in the book Beatrix Potter in 1902. The stories about the character have been translated into 35 languages of the world. In 1936, Walt Disney showed interest in the hero and wanted to make a cartoon about him, but the author did not agree to sell the rights to the work to the cartoonist. Will Gluck again took over script adaptation and directing. Rose Byrne and Donal Gleeson also returned to their roles.
