The events of the cartoon unfold in an alternate universe, on Earth, inhabited by ancient civilization. Here, in the kingdom of Lumandra, lives a fearless warrior of Paradise (Kelly Marie Tran). In May 2018, it became known that work is underway on the original plot, the working title of which was "Dragon Empire". Adele Lim ("Crazy Rich Asians") was invited to write the script.
