Kyiv is in the “yellow quarantine zone”. Please take one of the following documents in any form to be able to visit the cinema:
– a certificate confirming one or two doses of vaccine or 063-О paper certificate;
– international vaccination certificate;
– foreign vaccination certificate;
– negative PCR test or rapid test performed at a medical lab no later than 72 hours ago;
– negative rapid test;
– recovery certificate dated no later than 6 months ago.
Guests under the age of 18 don't need these documents. However, in Kyiv young visitors will be able to get to Planeta Kino only if they are accompanied by an adult with a document from the list.

New York, mid-1950s. Descendants of white immigrants and Puerto Ricans dislike each other. In the midst of a confrontation that never subsides, love arises. The plot of the musical melodrama «West Side Story» is based on the Broadway musical of the same name, which in turn is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's world drama Romeo and Juliet. The musical premiered in 1957. Since then, the audience's interest in the production has not subsided. In May 2014, Steven Spielberg expressed his interest in filming the plot. This prompted 20th Century Fox to acquire the appropriate rights to enable the project. One of the co-authors of the script, Tony Kushner, noted that the musical numbers, and there are 11 in total, will be left unchanged, and they will also try to create a film as close as possible to the original musical.
