FILM DESCRIPTION:

Several generations have passed since the reign of Caesar. The young chimpanzee Noah (Owen Teague) listens carefully to everything that is told to him about the past and how the development of certain technologies took place. He begins to notice more and more inconsistencies. To make sure his guesses are correct, he takes along a human girl named May (Freya Alan). People have gone wild for a long time, so you shouldn't expect much from her. Together, Noah and May embark on an exhausting journey, the results of which will determine the future development of both apes and humans.

The fantasy action film «Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes» is a direct sequel to 2017's War for the Planet of the Apes and the fourth film in the reboot of the Planet of the Apes franchise. The idea of this film was discussed back in 2016. In 2019, The Walt Disney Company announced that new films were in development and would take place in the same universe as the 2011 film Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
